Fun with Pictures

Google Picasa, the program I use to store and edit my photos, has this really neat function that recognizes faces and gives you the option to tag them. Once you've tagged a lot of pictures for one person, the program begins to recognize that person's face and offers up suggestions for more photos of that person. It's really cool, but, of course, there are some bugs. As I was tagging the other day, I ran across some mistakes the program made in tagging people. None of the mistakes were surprising, given that they were all among relatives (it has at some point mixed up all of my children with each other), but it was fun seeing the photos side-by-side and seeing how similar they were.

For example, Noah and Halle (who were mixed up NUMEROUS times):

Ironically, both of these pictures were taken at Cherry Beach.

And then there's Brooke and me:

Granted, she's pregnant in her picture and I'm not in mine, but we're not going to dwell on that...

And then there were Chloe and Halle:

So, again, no big surprises, just some fun photo comparison that I never would have noticed on my own.
