I blog, therefore I am

*I'm sure I've posted something similar to this before, but I'm not going to go looking for it now.

I'm so glad I have a blog. I have never, ever in my life had a journal for nearly this long. I kept a diary for all of two weeks when I was in fifth grade, and it still sits on my bookshelf any time I want to peruse its scarce pages. I've had the same journal for about 4 or 5 years now, and I return to it every once in a while. But this blog? I've kept this blog updated at least once a month since September 2005. And if you count my Xanga, which I do, I've blogged every month since May 2005. People. That is almost 6 years. Six years of my life chronicled in photos, reflections, silly things my kids said, silly things I've said. Six years of writing; six years of life.

I've just spent the last several hours reading through my blog. I laughed; I cried; it moved me, Bob. What a great thing.

I'm so glad I blog. I'm currently working on a guest post about faith and writing, and it's really good to remember and understand once more why I love this thing.

Hi! I saw that you wrote about the "Betty Crocker 100 Piece Cake Decorating Kit" a long, long time ago and I was just wondering what you think of this kit now? Was it crap or was it good? :) Have a nice day! Love /Ester from sweden

Ester, I think it's pretty great. The icing bags that come with the kit are good quality--I've never had one burst--and the different tips work really well. I recommend it!

Finally checked in after everything. I LOVE the new look. You've probably had it for a while, but I wanted to tell you.
I'm also glad you've been blogging for so long. :-)

I love that you love to blog! What's this about a test blog?
