Quiet

Death is a strange thing.
One minute here, another minute not.
And in this case, sadness
resides side-by-side
with hope,
tears with peace
conflicting, colliding, combining.
Lost daughters,
darling girls
drifting.
Hope they find haven
just as he has.
Parents
holding Hope
as they hurt.
And I see him smiling
a face-wide grin,
finally whole.
So we do not grieve as those who have no
Hope.
But we do grieve.
