Promised Soccer Pictures

And yet, they weren't taken by me. Props to Maria for the spectacular pictures. Of course, she had a beautiful subject... =)

I love the look on Halle's face in this picture!

Kicking like a pro... She scored two goals at this game, and her team "won", 5 or 6 to 1 or 2. Again, no official score. But the Purple Fairies kicked butt! (At one point I actually yelled, "Go Purple Fairies!", but felt so stupid that after that I just yelled, "Go Purple!")

For those of you that don't know, HOT stands for "Heart of Texas". Also, I'm pretty sure if you click on these pictures you'll get a zoomed-in view.

The peanut gallery

Oh, yeah--on a totally separate note, I have an interview with the library on Wednesday for possible non-paying copyediting work. So, should I take a resume or not? I found out on their website they do interviews for all of their volunteer positions, so I'm pretty sure it won't be nearly as formal as a typical job interview, and they didn't ask me to bring anything. I don't really have anything on my resume that relates to copyediting, although I can now add my continuing ed class. But maybe I should take one just in case...? What's the verdict?

Take the resume. When I interviewed at The Children's Place, they commented that I was one of the only ones that bothered to take a resume. Granted, it was a retail job and my resume has virtually NO retail experience, but it impressed them nonetheless. :-)

Great pictures. Take the resume, just in case. Better over-prepared than under-prepared.

Cute pictures!!! What a little soccer stud! Your comment about yelling "Go Purple Fairies!" made me laugh out loud in the middle of Starbucks. ;)

You know Halle reminds me of Annie in the second to last picture.
