Laundry and sundries

I did a load of laundry today, and as I was loading the washer I realized that I haven't done any laundry all week. This is certainly not because of lack of laundry. Please! In a family of 5 I can (and should) do at least one load a day. I've just really been slacking in the laundry department. Well, and being sick on Thursday and Friday certainly didn't help. In any case, I did a load of laundry today! =)

Halle's first soccer game was today, so it's official--I'm a soccer mom, AND I drive a mini-van (I'm cringing at the stereotypes). I think her team "won", but they don't actually keep score, so we don't know for sure. But I think if there was a score it would have been 4-2 or 3-2, or something like that. I promised Angie I would take pictures, but I honestly forgot, what with the game and Noah being sort of fussy and taking Halle to the bathroom midway through the game. Sorry--I'll take some next week!

Speaking of pictures, Halle and I were making my bed this morning (a semi-annual experience) and Noah came walking into my room carrying a box of Cheerios. I knew for sure that said box had been on top of the TV, too high for Mr. Noah to reach on his own, so I investigated. Dear readers, the boy had moved a chair from the dining room into the living room, positioned it in front of the entertainment center, climbed on top of it, grabbed the box, opened it, and poured himself some Cheerios. I was, and am, flabbergasted. He's only 19 months (today, actually)!! What will he be doing when he's 5?!? Oh, it boggles the imagination...

I only wanted a few, mom...

i cannot believe we missed the soccer game. it completely slipped my mind. i am so sad. :( i am glad this isn't her only game. :)

Glad they don't keep score, but secretely praising the superiority of my friend's child...Hypocritical? Where? Who?
Just take pictures the next time. And the pic of Noah is so cute. I'm sure he's seen his short mama use a chair so many times. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. :-)~

I can't wait to go to one of Halle's soccer games. I am going to bring my own scoreboard and announce the score with a mega-phone after each goal. Should be fun!

Oh boy. There really is no way to fully childproof a home, is there? Is it even worth trying? :)

(Being the nerd that I am, I have recently been reading about child safety in the household and so this was on my mind anyway...)

Love the pictures, by the way!
